These great beads are Black Onyx.  They are hex shaped and great for making lettering beads with the Alphabits stamps.  Note that these beads are NOT perfect.  They are onyx and not manufactured glass so they may have imperfections but you can usually turn it over or cover the imperfection with a letter sticker!
