Have you ever noticed that your scrapbooks are fanning outward? Do you use lumpy items in your book? Those lumps could impress onto the photos on the facing page if you don't use Scrapbook Spacers!
Scrapbook Spacers are made from a harder-to-find, scrapbook-safe material (it may look like something you could run to your local craft store for, but it isn't! We've done the research and we know that this material is safer than the craft store material). We recommend that you put one between every page protector or two. For really lumpy pages, consider putting two spacers between the pages.
Trim any excess material from the top and bottom if the spacer extends beyond the protector. We trim these spacers down to fit the 6x6 albums. Note that one spacer is only long enough to create one 6x6 spacer.
We're initially offering these spacers in white. If you need a different color, email Coral and let her know which color you'd prefer. We have a few colors, but not much stock of any given color.
The spacers are 12" long by 1/2" wide. The center hole is 6" from the top (or bottom). The other holes are 2" on center from the edge. If you have an album smaller than 12x12, measure the distance between the posts. You can trim your Scrapbook spacer to fit if the distance between the two posts is within the range 3.75"-4.25". If your album's posts are significantly closer or further apart than 3.75"-4.25", you might be able to punch a new hole and trim the spacer. Though, we really believe that most albums are fairly standard and our spacer will fit.
